They emigrated from IRELAND to the United States between 1852 and 1854 and settled in Florence, Oneida, NY. They were members of St. Mary's Church (Roman Catholic) in Florence. Timothy SULLIVAN was listed as a TANNER in the 1880 Census. They had the following children: Margaret SULLIVAN, born abt 1850, IRELAND, married Joseph Osterman abt 1867 (my Great Grandmother). Joseph and Margaret settled in Auburn, Cayuga, NY. Hannah SULLIVAN, born abt 1852, IRELAND (married an Alfred WILLIAMS, Theodore SMITH, or Wm. HAYES) Humphrey SULLIVAN, born abt 1854, Florence, Oneida, NY, married a Catherine UNKNOWN and lived in Yonkers, Westchester, NY. He was a TEAMSTER in Yonkers. Hannora SULLIVAN, born abt 1858, Florence, Oneida, NY (married a Alfred WILLIAMS, Thedore SMITH, or Wm. HAYES) Catherine SULLIVAN, born abt 1860, Florence, Oneida, NY, married Dennis E. KENNEDY, abt 1890, and died 1904. They ran The Kennedy Hotel in Camden, Oneida, NY. They had two children: Kathleen and Irene. Mary Ellen SULLIVAN, born abt 1864, Florence, Oneida, NY (married an Alfred WILLIAMS, Theodore SMITH, or Wm. James H. SULLIVAN, born abt March 1886, Yonkers (?) New York Bertha SULLIVAN, born abt Sept 1889, Yonkers(?)
