I was looking though the 1930 ONeida County census records this morning, when I found one of my names listed as follows. There was a page of women listed, and along side of it was written, "All inmates of Rome State School" So, what was this 'school'? The ages were in their 20's and up to the 60's. That was all that was written there. Hope someone can help with this. The name I was working on was Cornelia Betsinger, I'm trying to trace her life. And ideas?
