I'm planning on doing some research in this area in August. Could someone tell me how far from NYC this would be and if there is any trains that go up there? I will fly in from Calif. but I don't want to drive alone up there. So if there is another way I would appreciate knowing it. How long will it take to get there? Can I make it in a day? Looking for Whiffen's and Ferguson's mainly. Thanks, Carol
