Penny, Although the 1850 shows Philip as born in NH, The 1900 census shows Elisha with Mildred and two daughters, shows Elisha's father as being born in Massachusetts, and mother in NY, The 1910 shows Elisha's father born MA and mother Eng/Canada. Elisha - father was Phillip P. Farmer - mother -unk ( Phillip is my 3rd Great Grand Uncle) Roomer pasted down is that Elisha ran away from home at age of 6 because his stepmother was so mean. We know that Phillip was married to 1st wife, Salana Wood had 4 sons . Then to Elishas mother, 3rd wife was Emma. Can anyone put some light on who Elishas mother could be?
