Hi, I'm not personally interested in these families but......there is a place you could transcribe them to that would benefit others. You could send a copy here to the list of course where it would be in the archives. Also, it can be posted at the Newspaper Abstract site: Home page: http://www.newspaperabstracts.com/index.shtml NY Pages: http://www.newspaperabstracts.com/newyork/index.shtml Oneida County pages: http://www.newspaperabstracts.com/newyork/oneida/index.shtml Submit articles page: http://www.newspaperabstracts.com/submitarticles.html Actually if you sent it in to [email protected] The state coordinator would probably load it onto the site. There isn't an Oneida county coordinator. If you don't have time to transcribe them and can make a readable scan, you can also send them to me and I'll be happy to transcribe them. I tried to get thru Interlibrary loan the book Abstracts of Utica Sentinel & Gazette newspapers. The request was refused-Same for the microform Utica Sentinel & gazette Newspapers 1800-1835. I was surprised I couldn't even get the microfilm. I was able to get the Gospel Messenger & Church record of Western NY microfilm. The issues came out once a week from Utica. On one page of some issues they have a little section with some deaths and marriages. The rest of the issue deals with Church issues from Baltimore thru NY and no real use. There were 4 reels. It took me 3 hours to do go thru one reel. I only have a week time left and hope to put in at least one more session and I'll be transcribing them as I can.
