    2. G. M. Freeman If The Devil Reminds You of Your Past Remind Him of His Future "FALL FROM TREE PROVES FATAL Paul E. Mullen 10, Succumbs To Injuries Sustained When Branch Breaks. Succumbing to internal injuries received when he fell from the top of a tell tree at 1:30 in the afternoon, Paul E. Mullin 10 son of Mrs. Mary E. Mullin 117 Dean street, passed away at the Rome Hospital Friday night at 9:45. The boy was playing on Beecham avenue with his brother Emerson, and Evelyn Shaw a playmate, The children were flying kites and when a kite became entangled in the branches of a tree. Paul climbed into the tree to free it. When he had nearly reached the kite, the limb on which he was standing snapped and he fell heavily to the ground. He was rendered unconscious by the fall. Fred L. Meiss, who lives nearby, took the injured boy to the Rome Hospital. Soon after reaching the hospital the lad regained consciousness. An X-ray was taken revealing internal injuries. An hour before death came the boy again lapsed into unconsciousness Paul was born in this city and was a member of the 5th grade of St. Aloysius Academy. Besides his mother, he is survived by the following brothers and sister Stuart, Lawrence Kenneth, Emerson and Rosemary, all at home. His father, a well known business man of this city died seven years ago."
