Church and Baron Steuben Lodge. Taberg, Aug. 9.Edmund C. Spinning, aged 89, one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of Taberg, passed away at his home here at 8 oclock this morning, death resulting from the infirmities of age. He had been in poor health for some time and was confined to his bed for six weeks. He was patient and uncomplaining during his illness. Mr. Spinning was a son of Almer Spinning and Mariah Spinning and was born in the town of Lee on February 28, 1835. He had resided in Taberg since1873. For a number of years be conducted the Taberg Creamery. He was a faithful member of the M .E. Church and of the Epworth League He had been a member of Baron Steuben Lodge, F. & A. M.,since January 25, 1868. In 1868 he was married to Elizabeth Ward who survives. He also leaves one son, Attorney Seymour E. Spinning of Rome, one grandson, Ralph E. Spinning of Holyoke, Mass., and one sister Mrs. Alta Florence of Waltham, Mass. G. M.
