Hi Susan, I can't add a thing to what you already know about John Whitney, but if you haven't pursued Thankful-4 Benedict's roots, I can give you what it says in the Benedict Genealogy, which I have here. There are, however, absolutely no details for Thankful other than her birth date and the fact that she married John Whitney, not even a marriage date. Mary Kifissia, Greece > In the Whitney book it states that John Whitney was born in > Ridgefield, CT 1/28/1717, married his first wife Hephzibah Olmstead > 6/15/1746 in Ridgefield, CT, that Hephzibah died in Ridgefield, CT > 5/20/1753 and that he married Thankful Benedict who was born > 6/12/1727.
