I am planning a genealogy trip to the Utica , Deerfield NY area next month. I am driving from Cleveland OH. Could some kind soul please tell me what I might expect to find if I go to Deerfield NY specifically. I have been having trouble finding it on a map and was wondering if the town still exists. I am looking for the burial place of my ggg grandparents Jean Pierre DECKER and Marie DECKER who according to a Rootsweb transcription are buried in St Peters Cemetery in Deerfield NY. Does this cemetery still exist? Is there somewhere that I may be able to find church records for St Peters Church and or cemetery. Your help would be appreciated.Thank you. R.
