    3. Susan, Have you had any help with this? It appears that your Josiah Stillman is already in the DAR. The Patriot index lists: Stillman, Josiah Birth CT 16 Sept 1737 Rank: LT Service: MA Death NY 1808 No Pensions Spouse: Comfort Robbins Have you ordered an application record copy? A record copy might prove to be very helpful to you. If you have not ordered one already, ask for the most recent one they have on record. In addition, there are two Stillman family books in the DAR library. They might contain the info you need for proof. The nice thing about this is that if books are in the DAR Library, they will be accepted as proof. Title: The Stillman family in the United States of America / coll., comp. and pub. by Henry L. Jones Author: Jones, Henry L. Publisher: Wellsville, NY : Jones, 1896. Collation: 271, [22] p. ; 21 cm. Title: The Stillman family / prepared by Eva S. Reddick-Rogers Author: Reddick-Rogers, Eva S. Publisher: Seattle, WA : The Author, 1987 Collation: ca. 100 leaves : ill., facsims., ports. ; 28 cm.
