Your best bet would be to check with the Oneida County Historical Society. I know a few years ago they had a "photography expert" who could answer your questions. I've seen Scofield stereoviews (of Utica) on Ebay as recently as last week. There are also quite a few Utica City Directories you can check. For example; the 1874 directory lists a David Harris as a Utica photographer residing at 33 Tracy; and an Abner Gardner, photographer with a business at 109 Genesee; and a Charles Mundy listed as a photographer at 11 Broad St. etc. etc. Gardner and Mundy also have advertisements in the directory.
