Hello List, Looking for any info on a William BLOW The 1850 census list him as living in a boarding house with 12 others in Rome NY. age 35 Died Jan 7, 1851 - info from the Jackson Family Bible Believe this man to be brother of my 2nd GGrandmother, Catharine Blow Jackson Their mother was Hannah, Father William Blow - ( deceased most likely long before 1850) as Hannah remarried a Rogers. I have the 1850 Verona census listing Hannah Rogers 53yrs, Catharine 29yrs, William Jackson 30yrs and their dau, Caroline 1yr also is a William Rogers 34yrs b. Ireland, Believe this to be stepson of Hannah. Hannah was lost after this census, altho didn;'t die until 1861, but Catharine and family moved to Lewis Co then on to Oswego Co by 1860 I'm trying to find where Wm Blow might be buried. I've checked obits from Newspapers start Jan 7, 1851 through the month - nothing listed. Is it possible to be a cemetery abandoned or that is unk? Maybe a paupers cemetery. Any help would be appreciated on Wm or Hannah. Penny Jackson Schott [email protected]
