I'm trying to help a grandson who never knew Chas. his grandfather. Chas died 8 OCT 1937 in the Rome Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. It took this grandson years to find that Chas is buried in the Rome Cemetery. Chas lived in the 300 block of W. Bloomfield St at the time of death. His wife was named Mary. I'm wondering whether any of locals in the Rome area would see whether there is an accident report for Chas is in the Rome Sentinel in late Sept or early Oct.
