HI again, I am really digging for more information. THE NEHGS site list 's 2 PROBATES. Neither are for NOEL JONES. (1)NOEL JONES who was in PARIS, Onidea Co NY was witness on will for ASAHELS HILLS. 1811. NOEL JONES who was in Allegany CO 1835 was mentioned as son in law of dcd Samuel YAW whom died in Brookfield MADISON CO> NY. 29 Dec 1835 NOW I found this NOEL JONES in ALLEGANY Co. NY above mentioned and have data on him. So who is the NUEL JONES with John R JONES ?? (2) So who was the NUEL JONES who lived with JOHN R JONES both born NY living in WARD 2 Utica NY 1860. He is also the same age as this other NOEL JONES(1) whom's will was protested in Allegany because he did not recognize his family at death only last wife and one child. I am sure JOHN R JONES must be a son of this NUEL JONES. He (NUEL) obviously worked for an hotel. Does the county have a probate packet system for non willed people, NEHGS only goes up to 1850. ? John R may have had some land and Nuel may have sold land prior to this age. ?? I am looking for the parents of NOYES JONES born 1809 in Petersburg Rensselaer Co NY. Parents were NOEL JONES and Susannah JONES he (Noel) being born near 1785 near Albany NY. His Grandfather would be Silas JONES SR. These are the only two on the census that match the time frame both are mentioned above. SusiCP
