Deanna Most went overland. I checked Rasmussen, Louis J. San Francisco Ship Passenger Lists, Vol. I-III at Ancestry.com and the ship lists at http://www.maritimeheritage.org/ and found no passengers named McGough. My great grandfather went overland from Michigan, returning via Panama a few years later. Larry Turner ************************************** Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. I'm trying to accept that a man from Utica, went overland to Calif. How? If he went on horseback, he needed a change of horses often. He needed food and water for a terribly long time. He surely fought off Indians in 1851, so what am I missing? My great grandfather went overland from Michigan, returning via Panama a few years later.
