Sharon Your friend should do some foot work to find out what Counties her mother lived or was Born in. Perhaps her mother's Obit would have some info or her changed Birth Certificate, Marriage Record, SS Info or Death Record, How did she find out she was Adopted? Where did the family that adopted her live? Without that information it is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. Pat R
