OBITUARY Robert Lee Hughes Dies in California Word has been received here of the death of Robert Lee Hughes, which occurred recently at Paso Robles, Calif., where he had resided the last four years. Mr. Hughes was a native of the "Ninety-six" neighborhood of the town of Remsen [New York] and a cousin of Lewis Owens, Prospect [New York]. He spent most of his life in Chicago, [Illinois] where he was superintendent of one of the public schools. He was a deacon in the Paso Robles Congregational Church. Mr. Hughes leaves his wife, Anna Kilse? Hughes, two sons, Judson Hughes Glendale and John Hughes Alexandria?, a brother William J. Hughes, South Dakota and sister, Mrs. Mary A. Everett?, Kansas.
