Kathy, I found five WHEELERSs in Rome in 1820 census, but Isaac didn't appear until 1830 and 1840, and was gone again by 1850. Here is the listing for Isaac Wheeler in Camden, Oneida Co., NY, in the NY State Federal Census. In 1830: p. 354 1 free white male age 15 to under 20; 1 free white male 50 to under 60; 1 free white female 50 to under 60. There was also a listing for Daniel Wheeler on the same page, next line, which read 1 free white male under age 5; 1 free white male 30 to under 40; 1 free white female under age 5; 1 free white female 5 to under 10; 1 free white female 20 to under 30. ~~~~~~~ In 1840: Daniel is not listed, but Isaac's household, p. 194, has 1 free white male age 20- under 30; 1 free white male 60 to under 70; 1 free white female 60 to under 70. In 1850 in Camden, there are two listings, Brayton and Charles. Please let me know if you would like this information. Nan Proud Sponsor of Rootsweb On Thu, 19 Aug 1999 20:19:00 -0700 "John E.
