Roger, This is fine for your opinion, but different from mine. My subject line is taken up with NYONEIDA-L mostly with little room for anything else, especially a long surname list. I open them to find what the whole thing is and I enjoy doing it, even though I get many messages each day. This roll call thing is only a termporary burp in lots of messages, though I think it's is a great way to get us communicating more. We can always unsubscribe if it bothers us too much or gives us too many messages.
