It does not still exist does it? Hi Marsha, Your letter really brought back a lot of memories! Utica Club had some of the best commercials on t.v. when I was a kid ( 41 now ). I went to school with two of the Matt kids. Oh yeah..The name of the Brewery was F. X. Matt Brewing Co or Berwery. I think it just goes by Matts brewery or Brewing Co now. They make Saranac Ales amongst other things. They are still going strong as far as I know. I would love to know the rest of the words to the jingle too, so go ahead and share them! I wish I could remember the names of those silly steins..one was Dooley I think. My brother has a set of them in Houston. Thanks for writing about Utica Club. ( later became Matt's ...same family ). The F was for Francis..the X was for Xavier. Jan Hayden Atlanta,Ga Ps I grew up in New Hartford, NY..The Matt kids went to school there. >Can anyone still sing the jungle, sung by two beer steins [whose >names you can find at the very bottom of this post -- this is a >memory test, you see :-)] that began "Oh, brew me no brew with >artificial bubbles ........" ?? (I will finish this if anyone >expresses any interest! Probably only me and Rosie O'Donnell >totally love this stuff to death!)
