I am searching for Robert HOLMES who married Bertha COOK from Mcconnellsville, NY. They had 2 sons, possibly more children. Robert's mother was Carrie (Coon) Holmes and they lived in Rome, NY. Robert's sister, Marion lived in Old Forge, NY (hence the Herkimer County listing) Their mother went to live with Marion and probably died there.
