    2. Hi, I would think that most states give citizens access to graveyards on private property. A good source to find out would be either the state library or the legislative services bureau. (Most states have one or both.) I work for the Maryland Legislative Services Library and we get questions like that all the time from citizens. They are usually a good, free source to check laws and regulations. And most have Web pages. It is certainly a shame to travel all that way to be denied access. Maybe a copy of the law or regulation will not help if someone doesn't want you on their property but it might also be worth a try. Carol
