Hello: I remember going to the Utica Club Brewery many times as a college student in Utica. It was off Rte. 5 on the north side of town. Schultz and Duley were the two mugs - we don't remember the song. There was also a "keystone cop" type character and a little girl with a shamrock on her dress. The current name of the brewery should be F X Matt, unless it has been bought out recently. Hope this helps. There is a bed and breakfast inn in Ashville, NC called the Cladaugh that has original Schultz and Duley mugs - the owners moved there from Utica area a few years ago. If you double check the internet for the inn, they might be able to help you. jane@globalaccess-inc.com NYONEIDA-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > Subject: > > NYONEIDA-D Digest Volume 99 : Issue 256 > > Today's Topics: > #1 [NYONEIDA-L] Oneida Seminary [chris benson <makettle@dreamscape.] > #2 [NYONEIDA-L] Census [Priscilla Varney <pvarney@mint.net] > #3 [NYONEIDA-L] Re: Joseph Hale ["Joanne Bartholomew" <jbarth543@sh] > #4 [NYONEIDA-L] Howard Page or Marion [PMACEACHER@aol.com] > #5 [NYONEIDA-L] Utica Brewery/ies [C M Strong <cmstrong@mindspring.co] > #6 [NYONEIDA-L] Richard CHAPEL [Martin W Beerman <mwbeerman@home.c] > #7 Re: [NYONEIDA-L] Utica Brewery/ies ["Broneske" <unicorn@softcom.net>] > #8 Re: [NYONEIDA-L] Utica Brewery/ies [Eden2001@aol.com] > #9 Re: [NYONEIDA-L] Utica Brewery/ies [Leonard Brower <w2hax@sunline.net>] > > Administrivia: > To unsubscribe from NYONEIDA-D, send a message to > > NYONEIDA-D-request@rootsweb.com > > that contains in the body of the message the command > > unsubscribe > > and no other text. He later moved to Cayuga Co. and married Sarah and had several children. I think that John and Alan were two of his children. In the 1855 census of Cayuga Co. it lists Louisa and Alzine as the two children at home and indicates he lived in this county for 30 yrs. Can anyone give me information about his parents? I've tried to find a death notice in Cayuga Co. for Joseph Hale who was 60 in 1855 but I have not been able to locate his burial place. He is not listed in the 1860 census for Cayuga Co. Any information would be appreciated!
