I have really searched and searched for information on the Institute in Binghamton where my husbands great grandfather stil 33 years (Mental Def) + and he even died there. Name: Patrick W. Mulligan from Ireland and resided first in Sherburne, New York with his family. The reason I am searching is because one of his son's Fred Mulligan left one day and never to be seen again after 1905 in NYC. Also, one of the girl's wanted to become a nun. In pictures that I have she look very depressed. We wonder if this is being passed down through the family. Thank you. Judith M.
