Hello Listers: I'm working on my MILLS line and would love a little info from those of you more familiar with Oneida Co. (I'm in California) My GGgrandfather DAVID MILLS was son to WILLIAM and MARY TAGGART MILLS. David was born 1814 in Hillsborough Co., NH. Then sometime soon after that, the family was in Paris, Oneida Co., NY where son's CYRUS TAGGART MILLS (founder of MILLS COLLEGE, Oakland, CA) and WILLIAM GILES MILLS were born. According to family records, William and Mary died when the boys were young (1820-30?) and the boys were subsequently raised by an "Aunt Rebecca". Also mentioned is a REV. ALVAH DAY.
