Hello. I posted a while ago looking for information on John Blake and Emily Dunn..well I have received pension papers and wanted to share my updated info to see if anyone knows this family.... John BLAKE born 7//3/1840 in Hastings on the Hudson, Westchester NY. Believe his father to be Thomas Blake who may have been born in Ireland. Thomas reside in 1861 in Hastings on the Hudson. John married Emily E. DUNN Dec. 30, 1869 in Verona, Oneida, NY. She was born April 1, 1853 in Verona or Rome, Oneida NY. John BLAKE died Sept. 15, 1915 in Verona, Oneida, NY and Emily died April 20, 1985 in Oneida county. Their children: Mary Blake born Sept 15, 1873 Julia Blake born 4/16/1876 Emily Isabelle (went by Belle) Blake born 9/28/1878 Adeline Blake born 7/29/1881 John Michael Blake II born 4/21/1883 and died in Ohio 7/7/1939 Clara Blake 6/4/1889 Caroline Irena Reva Blake (went by Rena) 8/23/1891 Howard Blake born 11/18/1894 died 1918 George Blake born 9/24/1870 and died 4/20/1871 Charles Blake born 6/22/1872 and died 6/23/1872 The Blakes buried in Verona cemetery Verona, Oneida, NY: John, Emily, and Howard If anyone has any info. to share on any of these BLAKEs or on the DUNN line please let me know!!
