William Albert2 Shackford and his wife Elizabeth Frances were born in Portland, Cumberland, ME but resettled in Utica, Oneida, NY where they both died in 1913 and 1911 respectively. He was a millwright and pattern maker. What may have brought them to NY? I do know that their son, George Albert Shackford married Belle Ransom Mar 11, 1882 in Deerfield, Oneida, NY1.
