Can anyone tell me what newspapers were published around 1850 near Floyd or Marcey? I have lost my ggggrandfather since the 1840 census and since his children all moved to Wisconsin in 1850, am wondering if there was a death that precipitated the move since there is no mention of this family after the sons arrived in Wisconsin.
