I am searching for the parents of my ggg-grandfather Samuel Steward who was born in Oneida County, NY in 1804. He married Emily Hawley in 1828 also in Oneida Co. I was looking in the Deeds Index for Oneida Co. and found where Oliver Stewart and his wife Acynthia on Aug 14, 1827, sold land to a Samuel Stewart, a Charles Stewart, a Ezra J. Stewart and a Enos Stewart (each individually) and also on the same day Oliver and Acynthia bought land from William Sloan. I have ordered these records. Can anyone tell me anything about Oliver and Acynthia and the others listed? Where Samuel, Charles, Ezra and Enos their children?
