I see the "town" of Stueban outlined adjoining Remsen , to the West, NE a few miles from Rome. I am from Michigan and we would call the "town of Stueben", a township, encompassing a geographical area which may contain no notable towns or cities, in some cases. It is a self-governing unit in Michigan. I do see a notation of a North Stueben, and the state von Stueben memorail historical site, a Steuben Corners, STueben Valley, but no evidence of andy organized settlement. Dave
