Dear rooters, About 6 months ago someone on the list said they had information about the enlistment papers of my G grandfather,Perry Percy Whitney and his brother,LaFayette when they joined the Civil War on the same day in August of 1862. The 117th NY VOL. (Oneida Fourth) But I have lost their address and haven't received the copies and have not heard anymore. I know what it's like to forget things....seems like it happens more often as time goes on. Anyway, this is just a reminder. Hope we can connect again.
