Getting ready to visit the Oneida area once again. Looking for Gilbert MORGAN b:1/1810 in Verona d:10/07/1857 in Verona, Polly GIFFORD b: abt.1819 m: about 1833. Gilbert and Polly had 5 children, Asa, Jay L, James Franklin, Lucinda, and Sarah. Asa and Jay L., died as infants, James grew to adulthood and married Abigail Jane LEWIS then moved to Michigan in 1860. Gilbert, Asa, Jay L, many GIFFORDS' and LEWIS' buried in the Doxtator cemetery on Doxtator Road in what used to be Stacybasin. Polly's father Asa GIFFORD and all are from the Verona/Stacybasin area.
