    3. I saw your listings for BROWN from Oneida, and just had to see if any of mine might be related to yours. BROWN, Joseph, b. 1810, Barneveld, Oneida, NY, d. 9 APR 1892, Utica, Oneida, NY, m. HOOVER, Eliza Children (that I know of): Charles Harrison, Henry Charles Harrison, b. 2 NOV 1843, Utica, Oneida, NY, d. 29 OCT 1914, Oak Park, DuPage, ILL, m. PARKER, Anna Loy, b. 11 JUN 1850, South Canaan, Wayne, PA, d. 19 DEC 1932, Chicago, Cook, ILL Children: Sarah Blanche, Kathryn Belle, Ralph C., George Lawrence Charles Harrison BROWN arrived in Chicago in 1870 after giving his store to his brother Henry BROWN who was a Civil War Veteran. Charles Harrison BROWN was a member of the Oriental Lodge #97 AOUW & AF & AM. He was an engineer for the Milwaukee Railroad and supposedly died of a heart attack while on the train. Charles Harrison BROWN resided in Freeport, Stephenson, ILL on Jackson St., according to the 1880 Census, with his wife, baby Sarah Blanche, and father-in-law, John PARKER. In the Census of 1900 and 1910, he resided in Chicago. His residence at the time of his death was 2847 W. Division St. (probably Chicago). Anna Loy (PARKER) BROWN was a millener for Carson, Pirie Scott & Co., and a seamstress. She met Charles Harrison BROWN while she was a refugee at Lake Michigan after the Great Chicago Fire. Charles Harrison BROWN had ferried water on the train to the refugees at Lake Michigan. In Chicago, Anna Loy was a member of the 8th Presbyterian Church at Robie or Damen St. and Washington Blvd, which was across the street from the St. Andrews Episcopal Church where she eventually became a member of.
