Hello everyone .. I have received some new information from my father's cousin regarding my Mangan Family .... According to her, my g-grandfather Joseph Mangan was born in 1859 in Clayville, NY. I don't have any details on his parents, but I have names of the following siblings: Margaret Mangan Rockwell Patrick Mangan - married Rose Beck Rose Mangan --- father re-married --- James Mangan (1/2 brother) Julia Mangan (1/2 sister) married SNYDER ? Bill Mangan (1/2 brother) - never married. Joseph died in 1903 at the age of 44. Details surrounding his death are very sketchy - rumuor says he was in a trolly accident in Utica. Do any of the previous names show up in the 1860 census or county directory? I don't know if Joseph was the eldest child or not. Looks like I'll need to take a detour to Clayville next time I head to Utica. Any information will be greatly appreciated and immediately acknowledged. Thank you. Peggy Burns
