I am researching the surname BOWNE and allied surnames. My father was Kenneth Jay Bowne b Aug 21, 1904 d 1995. My grand father was Jesse Martin Bowne b aprox 1859 Clayville, Oneida Co, New York , My great grand father was Joseph Bowne b 1827 Whitestown, Oneida Co New York. I would like info on Jesse and Joseph Bowne as to Mother and Father Brothers and Sisters and Children of. Most BOWNE family members are related by 1st cousins that came to the USA in the late 1630s and Settled in NY and NJ and were Quakers. Later the family scattered to other states and became involved with other religions, I would like to know how to get any info these families I know Joseph was a farmer.
