Today my uncle, Donald George Carpenter, b. 22 March 1917 in Black Earth, Dane County, Wisconsin, passed away at his residence. He was the son of Edgar Carpenter and Nellie Mae Sorn. Great grandson of George Robert Carpenter, b. 7 September 1841 in Westernville, Oneida, New York and a descendant of Benjamin Carpenter and Renew Weeks of Massachusetts.
