Fran was my cousin. His mom and mine were sisters. In doing your genealogy, I don't know if you are interested in tracing any side lines back up. If you are, I could help. Doug Flynn ****************************** Memorandum To: William Maroney >From Doug Flynn <dmflynn35@juno.com> Subject Family Info The enclosed should give you a leg up on Fran Riesterer's Mom. I remember his Dad well, but don't know much about the family except that his parents lived next door in Forge Hollow, just outside Waterville, N.Y.. This was prior to and during WWII, when Joe managed the Grand Union Store in Waterville. After the war they moved to Iowa to study chiropractic. I do know that there is some information on the Riesterer's in a record book which was in the possession of the town clerk in Deansboro, N.Y. a few years ago, when I was researching a part of my family that lived in the same area. Sorry that the information I am sending you is so thin on the family you are interested in. I've neglected my closest relatives while I concentrate on my English and my wife's Dutch ancestors. With those lines we are tapping into some very extensive trees and they all go back to the twelfth century. I have 6100 people in the family file and I really should put it on line as you have. I did accept your invitation and will add Edith's direct line to my file. More About FRANCIS G.
