He was born in Germany in 1814 and married Maria Salome Sassias. They had the following children: Ann Schroeder Urtz, Nicholas Schrater, Barbara Schroeder Thomann, Catherine Schroeder Schmidt, Hubert Schroeder, Peter Schrader, Francis Schrader, Anna Marie Schroeder Mirkes Colwell, Elizabeth Schroeder, Joetta Schroeder, and Richard Schrader. Matthew first settled in Ava,NY and then later they all filtered down into the Utica area. Any information would be appreciated.
