Mead, Rome RFD 4. She was born in bridgeport, Conn, Jan 20, 1877, a daughter of Silas and Anna Eliza Van Derwalker Mason. Her husband, Burton E,. Mead to whom she was married on Jan 21, 1899, died in April 1915. Mrs Mead was educated in the Rome schools. She attended the Camroden Union Church and was a member of Floyd Grange, No. 665, the Helping Hand Society of Camroden Union Church and the Camroden Home Bureau. Surviving are four sons, Everett at whose home she died; Fayette H; Rome; Ransom S; charlotte, NC.; a twin sister, Mrs. Gussie Moulton; “Floyd; one brother George A. Mason, Fonda; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Griffin and Aldridge Funeral Home, Rome, at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery.
