I received many useful suggestions for searching and asking for the right information. I will check to see if my local genealogical society has any classes on how to use the FHC effectively. The next time I go to the FHC, I will ask for a brief tour of what resources are available. Also, I explored CyndisList a little and found some tutorials on using FHCs. Seek and ye shall find!
