I have several Palmers from the Utica area, but very few dates. If any of the following names are familiar to anyone, I hope they will contact me. Joseph Palmer-probably born around 1800. Died in Yorkville. He had 4 sons: William-probably born in the 1820's Clarence Claude Albert Claude & Clarence moved to Chicago William married Catherine Homer, daughter of Samuel Homer. They had at least four daughters Kate Anna Malinda b. 1846 in New York Mills Imogene b.1848 in Utica I have been told that my grandmother was very proud of her Palmer connection. Whether that was because they settled so early in the Utica area, were a branch of an original American family, were famous for some reason in the Utica area, or were just really nice people, I don't know.
