Hello, I am submitting names from various lines who were in Oneida Co. at some point. 1. Empey-looking for information about Richard Empey b abt 1814 m Elmira Putnam. I have the Putnam ancestry and would like info on the Empey side. They were in Camden (Empeyville?, I know it is tiny, been there!) They had at least one daughter Nancy Maria who m Edward Edick 1868. There is a lookup offer about Empeys on the usgenweb Herkimer.Montgomery site under the "cousins" page, I've submitted a query there also. The Putnam book, 1891, says that Elimra's husband and son servred in the late war. 2. McCluskey/McClusky/ Cook-looking for Samuel McClusky's family. He was from Ireland, b 1814 m Margaret Cook from Ireland b 1825. They were in Boonville and I suspect were a part of the family mentioned in the article about Potato Hill on this site. Samuel's daughter Isabelle was born 1856 in Boonville. Samuel went to MI. Would love to have information about who his parents, siblings, etc. were. 3. Dayton-Jonah b 1756/7 d 1837 son of Abraham Dayton and Abiah Beardsley was an early settler in Remsen. I understand there is a Dayton road and a Dayton cemetery in that area where a number of the family are buried. Would like any information on this family. Jonah m Jane Terrill and Patty (Martha) Smith. Thanks for any information about these families. Janet Kral
