    3. Susan, I have learned not to throw away any notes and now as a result I have info for you. I have a spiral notebook and just draw a line thru the info when I am finished with it. I was in the Florence/Camden area searching for my Secors. I drove too far on a road, missed my turn, and was told that I was in Empeyville which now is just a curve in the road. I stopped asked questions and was told by Betty Selven that she had researched everyone in Empeyville. She told me that there used to be a lot of farming in that area, but after WWII people went elsewhere. The area is now overgrown with trees and undergrowth. She is retired from being a toll taker on the NYS Thruway. Now I don't know how extensive her research was. Here is her phone number: 315-245-2799. I do not have an address. Empeyville appears to be about 5 miles NE of Camden. Good Luck!
