Valentine Hanicker, HerrNecker, Harrneckar, (you get the picture) m Mary Beurlein about 1856, possibly Oneida Co. Mary died by 1861 when Val married wife #3 and produced another family. Valentine arrived in NY about 1851 with several sons from his first wife, presumed already dead since she did not make the trip. Looking for information as to wedding and death records for Valentine and Mary. He is buried at Churchville, but she is not, according to their records. This pair had one child that lived to maturity, Sarah. Have found 21 ways to spell his last name in Civil War records of boys by first wife, so it is very difficult to search. It almost appears that with each wife, Valentine changed spelling of name..
