Does anyone know an appropriate Oneida County archive where one might deposit genealogical materials? I am thinking of data that one might wish to make available to other researchers. Such data might include copies of family Bible pages, research results, family group sheets, and so on. The family files in Fonda at the Old Court House have been such a wonderful resource. Similarly, the Local History Room at the Berkshire Athenaeum (public library) in Pittsfield, Mass., maintains an excellent archive for Berkshire and upstate New York research. The central NY archive in Cooperstown is superb as well. Does the Utica area have an archive somewhere that is carefully maintained and available to the public?
