Ron, Check out the New York State Newspaper Project page (from the NYS Library) http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/nysnp/ Click on NYS Newspaper Microfilm, and then either NYS Newspaper Microfilm at the State Library or NYS Newspaper Microfilm around the State. These lists will tell you which newspapers cover the dates you want, and then which libraries own them. You might then be able to "rent" the film through the Interlibrary Loan Dept. of your local Public Library. As for the death records, you would have to check with the local offices in Annsville. NYS only has them from 1881+ (mostly incomplete). Good luck.
