GOod Morning All My names are Cheever, Tufts, Foote. Tufts and Foote married into the Cheever line. Question Would the members of the list like to have all replies posted to the list. At this time this list is set up where replies only go to the person sending the message. I can set the list up where replies can also go to the list as will as the sender. Would like you ideas on this subject. If you have any other questions or concern please let me know. Please reply to me on this subject instead of the list. So as not to clutter it up since we have a mini roll call going. Which I think is a great idea. My address is judjack@rocketmail.com Will let everyone know what the vote tally is by Saturday evening. The surname list is a great idea!!! I'm looking for William Rundel (the name is spelled various ways, often for the same individual, Rundel, Rundell, Rundle, Rundall, etc.) born about 1745 in New Fairfield, CT, moved to Oneida County about 1800. I believe he had at least three children, Daniel, Anne, and Ruth, all born more or less in the 1770s. Anne and Ruth both married Eastmans. Daniel was my ggg-grandfather. Daniel and William are the only Rundel males showing up on the Oneida County census from 1815-1830. They lived in Marshall, apparently next door. William died in Oneida County in 1833. Daniel died in Oneida County in 1853. I have a copy of Daniel's will, naming his wife and all of his children. Any help or inquiries would be greatly appreciated. Robert Rundel rundel@aol.com

Hi listers! About a week ago, the list co-ordinator on the Madsion County List started a mini surname roll-call -- his theory was that we might be able to grab onto single names faster than whole long paragraphs. My initial response was I doubted it would be very productive, but boy! Was I ever wrong! All of a sudden, match upon match started pouring out of the woodwork! So I was wondering if you'all would care to do the same here? And just to get the ball rolling, here are my Oneida County surnames: EVANS, EMERSON, DURHAM, COWLES, CUTTS, DUMKA Let's make some connections! Marsha
