Seek information on the parents and siblings of NY-born James CHRISTIE (1813-1884), who lived in the Hillsboro area of Camden Twp., Oneida Co., NY from 1835 to 1848, and possibly earlier. Was he kin to the James CHRISTY of Whitestown? Our James, involved in the Hillsboro Methodist revival of 1846, was married to Mary Ann PATERSON (d/o James Paterson and Jane ?), a native of Northern Ireland. James sold his land in Camden to Robt. McIntosh in 1848 and moved to Tompkins Twp., Jackson Co., MI. We can supply info on the later generations in MI, CA and NV. Karen Christie Albright, Merced, CA

Based on headstones at the Irish Ridge cemetery, where the two Cassidy brothers are buried, my grandmother speculated that they might be from Kings County (present day County Offaly) since a lot of immigrants tended to congregate together with folks from the “old neighborhood.” I have even less info on Julia. According to family, her maiden name was Halligan but I have been unable to find Halligans in or around Oneida County in the US Censuses. Hi, my name is Vera and I live in the UK .Is there anyone could lookup in 1905 to see who was living at 33 Millgate Street , Utica New York. This would have been late December 1905. If anyone can help it would solve an enormous puzzle for me. Many thanks in advance. Vera Bradburn
Searching for information on Jane PIKE, RETFORD/REDFORD. She was in Troy, Rensselear County, NY in 1850, according to Federal Census. She was living with husband Thomas, daughter Margaret and son John. A daughter Elizabeth Jane was born later that year. According to the family bible, Jane died in Alder Brook, Bonneville, Oneida County, NY in August 1852. I have checked, through the Family History Library of the Mormon Church, a book that the DAR compiled of Oneida County Cemetery headstone inscriptions, but did not find any listings for PIKE or RETFORD/REDFORD . Any help on this subject will be appreciated. Pat Weiderman Crimmel Kelso, WA

Debbie, Just giving you everything in the index so you can see the names in the area at those times. I don't have the 1830-50 indexed.
