    1. [NYONEIDA] February 1901 Rome Sentinel names
    2. The following are names from a newspaper article entitled: Record of the Year: Important Local Happenings During 1901 It is from: ROME SENTINEL, Friday, January 3, 1902 If you are researching any of these names, I will gladly send you the information the article gives to your personal email address, not on the Oneida List to avoid a possible overload of emails to everyone. There is only one sentence for each name. Some have died (d = died), some promoted, some elected, others have had events happen to them that are newsworthy. This is just February; I previously posted January. I will post the rest of the months as I get them typed, one month at a time. 3. IRA HALL was born 14 Sept 1818 and died 14 Dec 1894. A wife, Elvira, and children, I assume, Martha, 24, and Millard, 22 appear in the 1870 Census of the Town of Lee. The parents are buried in Hall(s) Cemetery on the Point Rock Road out of Lee Center. I'm looking for anything at all I can learn about Martha; maybe someone on this List is related or has details. Thanks. GMF Rudeness is a weak imitation of strength.

    3. I got my will in about 10 days, which I thought was quite reasonable! With so many people interested in family history, the turn around time for vital records from government agencies varies widely! When I asked for possible probate records in Michigan, it took 2 1/2 months.... It was however worth the payoff! There were no probate records but there were guardianship proceedings!
