    3. Good morning Folks - Being quite impressed on Ray's project of getting a memorial stone for his Civil War ancestor, I made it my project for this year. Actually I sent to the VA Administration for an application late last year. Was very surprised to get a call a couple weeks ago from the secretary of the cemetery that the memorial plaque was already delivered. Wow! I'm hoping to dedicate it on the 140th anniversary of my cousin's death - July 30th, 1864, and to be there for it. It's being placed in his grandparents' plot in Hartland Central Cemetery. Where his remains are remain a mystery though the book of honor at the Niagara County Historians' Office say he was buried in the field. Jesse A. SEWARD had 5 siblings who survived him. I have been blessed to have found them all, plus their children via the census. But that's only up to 1930. I just know there are living cousins there in Niagara County (WHITTAKER), or Michigan (where a brother and two sisters - COLEMAN & SMITH - lived and died), Oregon where his youngest brother died in 1950 (had one daughter who married a PETERSON). Even blessed to find two sons of one sister in Hemet, California in 1930, and have their obits showing they had children and grandchildren. Any suggestions in tracking down the living will be appreciated. I use the library's computers since I don't have Internet access. Why do I want to find the living ??- because I want them to know of their great, great, great uncle's upcoming memorial. Thanks much Evelyn in Colorado ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Surf the Web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER!
